This is a great and super simple recipe that’s perfect for weeknights or a little weekend entertaining. Serve alongside steamed rice and some roasted vegetables and you’ve got yourself a perfect meal that’s well suited to a variety of occasions.

 

Teriyaki Mahi Mahi

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 1½-2 lbs mahi-mahi fillets

  • 2 Tbsp canola oil

  • 2 Tbsp flour

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

  • 2 Tbsp teriyaki sauce

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Juice of one lemon

 Directions:

  1. Dredge mahi fillets in flour and sauté and in a large heavy sauté pan for 3-4 minutes per side over medium high heat.

  2. Remove mahi from pan, reduce heat to low and sauté garlic 1-2 minutes until soft but not browned.

  3. Add all other ingredients, simmer 3-5 minutes and pour sauce over fish.
