This is a great and super simple recipe that’s perfect for weeknights or a little weekend entertaining. Serve alongside steamed rice and some roasted vegetables and you’ve got yourself a perfect meal that’s well suited to a variety of occasions.
Serves 4
1½-2 lbs mahi-mahi fillets
2 Tbsp canola oil
2 Tbsp flour
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
2 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Juice of one lemon
Dredge mahi fillets in flour and sauté and in a large heavy sauté pan for 3-4 minutes per side over medium high heat.
Remove mahi from pan, reduce heat to low and sauté garlic 1-2 minutes until soft but not browned.
Add all other ingredients, simmer 3-5 minutes and pour sauce over fish.
