There's nothing like a really nice, high quality salmon baked with a little sweet and sticky glaze. This recipe is super easy and works well with all your favorite salmons, but if you ask us, the fattier the salmon, the better.

Sweet Soy Glazed Salmon with Stir Fried Ginger Peas

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 6-8oz Salmon Fillets
  • 16oz Pea Pods (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 Shallot, thinly sliced
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Cup Pickled Ginger, roughly chopped
  • Kikkoman Sweet Soy Glaze
  • Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili or Sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt & Pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place salmon on a well oiled baking sheet and drizzle with the sweet soy glaze. Using a pastry brush or spoon, spread the glaze around to fully coat the salmon. Season with salt and pepper
  2. Place the salmon into a pre-heated 450 degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked to desired doneness
  3. Place a skillet or wok over high-heat until hot. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Once shimmering, add in your peas, shallots, and garlic, until the shallots and garlic begin to soften, approximately 2 minutes. Add the chili oil and soy sauce and stir fry until the soy sauce begins to reduce, approximately 2 minutes. Add in the pickled garlic and cook until warmed through, approximately 1 minute
  4. Serve salmon and ginger peas with rice
